This is part one of the Individualized Project Based Learning (I-PBL) sharing by Miss Stella Veronica. She is currently teaching at SM Datu Haji Panglima Jakarullah, Semporna, Sabah. This I-PBL has been her tool for remote learning and classroom based assessment with her Form 5 students. In this episode, she explains the concept, framework, and execution of the project. Teacher Nana and Dr. Ilha talk about the core beliefs of the CEFR-aligned curriculum, the mindset to embrace as we embark on this new curriculum, the foreign contents in the textbook and assessments that come with the curriculum. A model in Positive Psychology is PERMA, which is an acronym for Positive Emotion, Engagement, Relationship, Meaning, and Achievement. While you can use this model for your life in general, PERMA is definitely useful in your work-life such as working in a school. Over the next five episodes, we are going to take a look at each component of the PERMA Model and see how we can apply it in our workplace and career.

I might after this conversation with Teacher Stella. She sought professional counseling for her anxiety and it has helped her cope and self manage effectively. 

It is crucial to learn from experience. The first week of TEMCO has ended and a few of us got together to reflect on our online lessons for the week. Teachers shared how their online lessons during this second movement control order differ from the first one (March to June). Teacher Juliana Rushdi and her colleagues at SMK Bugaya, Semporna are currently running it in their classrooms and in this interview she is sharing the reasons, process, and impacts Olidas has among her students and for herself. 

Preparing students for competition is a lot of work and do they really retain what they gained from it? Teachers Jessica Lee and Susan Balong share their students' journey of growth as they participated in the Students Doing Good (SDG) and Student Leadership Camp (SLC) competitions in 2019.

Equity is a big word in education. What is equity in the classroom, what can we teachers do to enable equity in the classroom and in our team of teachers, and how does this relate with quality education?
