Since the widening of the Democratic tent, a lot of different philosophies have found a cozy home.  Learn (sorta-Chrissy got bored and stopped researching) the history of the Progressive party. A common phrase in Chrissy’s social circles is definitely NOT in Jewelz.  The idea is such:  that people support socially progressive ideas such as gay rights, welfare programs and other progressive issues while also desiring less government spending and oversight. We discuss how to marry up the idea of dreading paying taxes with supporting government programs...or if you can?  We also discuss how to navigate conversations with those you love in your life who don’t vote in a way that aligns with the core values that inform your politics. More specifically, how Chrissy engages with Trump supporters in her life. Chrissy is still waiting for Jewelz to bill her for the therapy session that was the end of this episode!
