In this episode we give a breakdown on the tools we use and how we use them. We separate them into the ones we use for the pod and what we use in our personal projects.

Me and Alou can design and he uses Figma a lot, I have used Sketch in the past and still find myself using it from time to time but can also work with Figma myself. 

What I create in Figma is usually a user flow, prototype, and low-fidelity mockup of a potential mobile app or web app. 

Davinci is a Video Editing tool that a lot of professional videographers utilize for free. It has a lot of free features for podcast editing and Youtube. 

Riverside is a more simplified version of DaVinci Studio and can be powerful for podcasters to make quality audio with.

In this episode Ron discusses how ‘Sacrifice’ is important to an entrepreneur’s journey. The difficult choice they have to make is what makes or breaks someone trying to be successful. 

It was a bit of a diary to Ron himself as he needed to speak on his personal sacrifices and how it affects him. When you are faced with a difficult choice it will effect you in some way but it eventually molds you to a rigid person.

We visited ATX to see some apartments and feel out the vibes there in the city. It was great exploring the city and seeing whats around here but the true question is if we can live here as New Yorkers. 

All cities or new environments take some time to adjust to and get to appreciate and 1 trip won’t give us that comfort yet. It’s only if we decide and able to actually move here we can then get that experience.

Our next adventure might be in Georgia.

Alou and Ron came back for a status update on what they have been up to in their spare time. The projects they have been working on. Alou has a new EdTech product he plans to build a first version of. Ron built 3 web apps on bubble io platform, a no code platform. He is thinking of deploying it for portfolio purposes. 

We went into the latest Tech news, well indie hacker news. Alou spoke about what creators have built and piqued his interest to have that digital nomad lifestyle. Ron actually got cut off mid-air lol, but he was going to talk lastly about Mark Manson’s 40 lessons learned at the age of 40. The author of the “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck”.

In this episode Ron went a little into depth on how to think about Ads and building a brand. It is a cross-collab between you as a brand and where the ad will be placed. 

It is best to put it where the place (distribution) will be relevant to the target audience you are seeking.

Ron did not discuss these all in-depth but gave y’all an amateur perspective on how to think about creating Ads. It is good to know how to Advertise as it sends your message to a broad audience. When we say broad we don’t mean as a broad targeting campaign but to your specific audience.

Alou gave his takeaways from The Right It By Alberto Savoia, this book is well written and is sort of like a guide book in identifying the right Ideas to build. It will be broken down into two parts, part one will be in identifying the idea and part two will be in how to test those ideas.
