Though this may be true in some cases, not all. We must acknowledge, accept and adjust to the choices we’ve made in life. Hopefully this will change your perspective.

Not only does she provide family with food & necessities but she helps the essential workers as well. Her projects have earned her a spot on KHOU 11. We cannot turn on the news without being reminded that even though slavery ended, African Americans are still not being seen as equals. We cannot ignore the racial injustices and the evident police brutality. We can change things today if only we come together. There’s a bigger picture to this & it’s bigger than black or white.

Blindness, osteoporosis & acute chest syndrome are a few complications of living with Sickle Cell Disease. I am so honored to have had the opportunity to educate myself on this inherited blood disorder. Thanks to Patricias Guardian Angel, I now know how to help someone that battles with this disease.

Being single today is definitely hard but when I look back on the way I lose focus and how the depression sets in, I am stronger. Take a look from “what is this teaching me” and not “why is this happening to me”.
