RED CARPET SPECIAL SHOW - Today we visit the red carpet at historic Tampa Theatre for the world premier of "The Little Mermaid". We talk with the stars, directors and writers of the movie and I give my review of the hit movie airing today in theaters everywhere.
William Moseley - William is best known for his roles in "Chronicles of Narnia" and "The Royals". He is cast as Cam Harrison who is the uncle of a sick niece in "The Little Mermaid". As a reporter, his editor sends him to Mississippi to investigate a magic water that's supposed to cure all ailments. His editor hopes it will cure his niece. As a skeptic he's on a mission, giving a little hope that it may be real.
Poppy Drayton - Poppy is best known for her role in the hit series on the Hallmark Channel "When Calls the Heart" and "Downtown Abbey". Poppy is cast as Elizabeth the Mermaid who sold her soul to the evil Locke, who runs the circus. Her soul may be in a bottle controlling her, but her heart is in the world around her transcending the circus. She wants love and freedom but has no idea if it will find her.
Armando Gutierrez - Armando is best known for his roles in "Walt Before Mickey" and "House of Cards". He is cast as Locke, the sinister circus master who enslaved the workers and Elizabeth the Mermaid. He is a powerful magician who will stop at nothing when it comes to controlling and getting what he wants. He also is a co-director in the Little Mermaid.
Blake Harris - Blake is a writer and producer on "The Little Mermaid". He adapted the Hans Christian Anderson fictional novel to the story played for us to see on "The Little Mermaid". His unique style and vision makes for a wonderfully produced film and amazing story.
