Ron Carter - Ron is the President of "Children Incorporated", an organization that for 50 years has helped over 250,000 children worldwide. 20 years ago a book called "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff" was released and that book with a small mention changed Children Incorporated forever. Now the widow of the writer is re-released it and they teamed up together to help sponsor 2000 children.

Don't Take Things for Granted - All too often we assume someone or something will always be there so we tend to push it or them aside and go on with our lives - sometimes till it's completely forgotten. That's what happened to me with Looney Tunes, I was awaken to what I've missed and when I tried to find them on TV they were gone. Looney Tunes had a profound impact on my childhood and one of the inspirations behind my love of animation. Where did they go?

This week Manchester England was attacked by a sick individual named Salman Abedi, who killed 22 kids and young adults who attended an Ariana Grande concert. She was not hurt as the attack happened at the front doors of the area after the concert was over. Where does this end? Is love the answer? We discuss this

Today I heard a student say that Robin Hood was his hero, because he stole from the rich corporate pigs and gave back to the poor, he believes that the government should tax the hell out of the rich and give it to everyone else. The problem is, that's not what Robin Hood did. We review the story and what socialism/communism means and why Robin Hood stood up against the monarchy/communist rule!

Sarena Parmar - Sarena has been seen in some great productions like Disney's "Radio Rebel" playing Audrey and she's been a part of the movie "How to Be Indie". Now she's in a near year long production called the "Shaw Festival" in Canada performing in two live theatrical productions. We talk about all this and her passions for charity.

Commentary

We discuss two things on this episode. First we dive into jealousy. It's amazing how jealous we are of other that succeed and those who do succeed, regardless what it is they succeed in those who envy their success try to take them down and make it fair - but for who? Them? It's wrong. Instead we should use their success as inspiration to reach our own potential. If they can do it so can we! Then we finish the show talking about PBS's new Kids Series "Dying to Be a Martyr" an educational series that takes you into the mind of a terrorist suicide bomber. They talk about why they do what they do, why it's OK, and why they need to destroy Israel because of how they live. It's indoctrination, and it's something I am simply against. Do you think it's right to try to justify suicide bombings and mass murder because they are envious and/or angry that they do not accept their god? Does that justify them to kill? This series sounds like it's trying to justify their actions and make it right with an argument from those who think it is. Is this what we're publicly funding... it is! What's your take on this.
