She didn’t run for office because she wanted power. She ran because kids needed someone to fight for them. On this episode of Amelia Proclaims Liberty, I am joined by Trisha Garner, a McDowell County, North Carolina Commissioner. She ran for office not to climb a ladder, but to protect kids, challenge broken systems, and call Christians back to the Biblical mandate to care for the fatherless. Trisha's story starts long before politics: as a foster parent and adoptive mom in a home that grew from three biological boys to eight children, she saw firsthand how trauma, neglect, and policy decisions shape a child's future. That experience pushed her to ask who really oversees DSS, why children are too often the afterthought, and what it looks like to stand up when the system isn't working.
We also break down the emotional and spiritual stakes behind foster care, from the lasting impact of abuse and neglect to the gospel picture of adoption itself. Trisha makes the case that children are not "resilient" by default, that big families are something to be celebrated, and that opening your home can become a life-changing act of obedience, compassion, and faith.

Islam is not just a faith, it is a political system with a strategy, and most Westerners are completely missing the warning signs. In this episode of Amelia Proclaims Liberty, I am joined by Danny Burmawi, a former Muslim, author of Islam, Israel, and the West, and founder of the Ideological Defense Institute. He explains why the West keeps misreading Islam, why October 7 changed everything for him, and why confusing individual Muslims with the ideology itself is a dangerous mistake. Danny shares the personal story that shaped his worldview - growing up Muslim in Jordan, converting to Christianity at 18 or 19, being forced to leave after threats and harassment, and spending years ministering across eight Middle Eastern countries. That lived experience gives him a perspective few people can offer on how Islam is taught, how it operates socially, and why Western institutions often get it so wrong. We also tackle the growing confusion around conservative politics, Tucker Carlson’s shift on Israel and Islam, and why some young Western women are gravitating toward Islam. This is a conversation that everyone needs to hear.

In this episode of Amelia Proclaims Liberty, Clarence Henderson, who took part in the 1960 Woolworth lunch counter sit-in in Greensboro, shares what it was like to face threats, segregation, and history in the making. He carved a path to freedom and equality for all races and future generations. We talk about courage, citizenship, and what it takes to defend a free society. From walking into Woolworth’s not knowing whether he would leave in handcuffs or an ambulance, to the 176-day struggle to integrate the lunch counter, Henderson tells the story behind the headlines and why it still matters today. He wrote about all of this in his book Forgotten Courage. He is now a pro-life, Christian, conservative voice who wants to call us back to knowing our history and preserving our freedoms that God gave us.

In this episode of Amelia Proclaims Liberty, Pastor Rob McCoy joins me for a fast-moving, deeply personal conversation about faith, liberty, Charlie Kirk's legacy, and the spiritual warfare shaping American culture. Pastor McCoy shares how he went from decades in California ministry to public service, how his friendship with Charlie Kirk began, and why he believes the church must engage with the public square. He also discusses revival, social media outrage, antisemitism, and the hope he sees in a generation searching for purpose. If you care about faith, political courage, and what Christians owe their neighbors, this episode is a direct call to stop spectating and start discipling the culture again.

In this episode of Amelia Proclaims Liberty, I sat down with former NBA athlete Enes Kanter Freedom who has been using his platform to speak out against human rights violations for years and is now using it to protect sports and private spaces for girls and women. After several WNBA players and coaches said that they would welcome trans athletes (biological men) on their teams, Enes Kanter Freedom decided to make a point. He declared for the 2027 WNBA draft by simply saying that he was a woman. He was met with vitriol and threats from the left. He even got kicked out of a WNBA game. In this brief conversation, he opens up about why he is fighting for women's sports and privacy, TikTok being a Chinese spy app, and the threats he gets every single day.

Over the last few weeks, professional athletes have really been making a lot of waves! Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham, Tennis star Aryna Sabalenka, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, and even ESPN analyst Pat McAfee have been vocal about topics such as men in women's sports and Dr. Fauci and the COVID-19 pandemic. In a world where so many people are afraid to voice and stand up for what they believe in, it is encouraging to see celebrities who aren't afraid! I pray that their courage is contagious. Buckle up for this exciting episode where we can reflect on all of these culture wins!

In this beautifully educational episode of Amelia Proclaims Liberty, I sat down with Dr. Christina Francis, a pro-life OBGYN and director of AAPLOG, the American Association of Pro-life OBGYNs. Did you know that not all OBGYNs are pro-life? Some actually deny the science and promote abortion. But not Dr. Christian Francis! She teaches us the beautiful, intricate science behind pregnancy and motherhood and how being pregnant actually enhances a woman's health and motherhood strengthens her in so many ways. She also shares how the abortion industry constantly lies and denies science in order to push their agenda. Being pro-life is pro-humanity, pro-woman, pro-baby, and pro-compassion. This conversation will leave you inspired and motivated to stand up for preborn babies and cherish pregnancy and motherhood the way God created you to.
