Apple is the poster child for 'domestic, commercial, abuse' and at the same time, they would win the award for the 'smart, global, capitalist' award. The list is a long one. Brexit and Trump have redefined a few rules; but for how long? Is the movement toward nationalism here to stay - or will globalization reign. How does the global economy contribute to the quality of life in our individual neighborhoods? Will globalization ultimately drive more people to live below the poverty level? How does a global economy threaten the overall freedoms of the average worker? Or does it?
Co-hosts Sally Fernandez believes that nationalization is hot for a reason, while Dr Andrea Pennington has a few reservations. Interestingly enough, there is common ground to be discovered. As the conversation turns to diversity within the context of globalization, Malcolm has a few thoughts - go figure!
