Tristan Swartz is the sixth-generation dairy farmer behind the social media platform Doing It Wrong Dairy, where he shares an unfiltered look at life on his Wisconsin farm.

Based near Gilman, Wisconsin, Swartz milks about 50 cows and manages 500 acres. His posts highlight traditional, old-school farming practices and sometimes take an unconventional approach to dairy production, including keeping calves with their mothers.

Through Doing It Wrong Dairy, Swartz also offers his perspective—and criticism—on some practices used in larger-scale commercial agriculture, sparking conversation about different ways to raise cattle and operate a dairy farm.
