  • Starting All Over

Brainstorming, dreaming and visualising your life in another country is a natural part of most people’s journeys to preparing for a big change like moving countries. It can be argued that the dream or visualisation that you hold in your mind and heart about your new life is what actually propels you to take action to live your life abroad. But what happens when the American Dream you hold in your heart and mind becomes a reality and the reality is far from the dream?

On this episode Michelle Stewart, mother, nurse and author shares her journey from Luton, Bedfordshire to Louisiana then onto Shaker, Ohio. Explaining how she kept her love for life alive, when her love life didn’t survive her American dream. Whilst you listen to this episode, grab yourself a cuppa and a cheese toastie, trust me, it’s what Michelle would want you to do…

With her 10-year anniversary of moving to NYC on the horizon, Jane, a management consultant advising mergers & acquisitions is thinking about what the next chapter of her life will look like and whether she will make the move to her second home city: London to experience, celebrate and indulge in her unique identity amongst the well-established first-generation Ghanaian community in the UK.
