Ep. 20 is now up and running. Stop by and check out John Alvarez as he talks with me about 1973's The Wicker Man. Damn what a movie!!!
It's my pleasure and privilege to welcome the great and powerful writer and producer Stephen Langford (Club Dead, Creepshow, Warm-Blooded Killers, Family Matters, etc.) to the show for the first time to discuss the ultimate horror classic, Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho. Stephen is an industry veteran so I'm 100% positive it's gonna be a real treat to get his insights into this timeless masterpiece. Stop by and say hello!
My first collab with @TrashedPictureShow is happening here as we cover 2012's DREDD, a criminally underrated action film directed by Pete Travis and starring the very cool Karl Urban in the featured role. Stop by and say hello!
"Blades and fangs". That pretty much describes the brutality of 2015's Green Room, directed by Jeremy Saulnier. Stop by the livestream as I chat with Doug Lester about this underrated horror thriller that for some strange reason stars Patrick Stewart. Holy shit what a film.
Hey Internet, Eric Here and I are doing double duty for our first collaboration as we tackle some personal favorites of mine, Rob Zombie's Halloween series! Stop by for the fun!
NightWatch stops by again to help me review a very special film, 2016's A Dark Song, directed by Liam Gavin. This film takes us into different territory. Stop by the live stream and join our conversation! It's gonna be something!
The most loose association chat I've had in awhile. Those are the most fun for me! Oh, and the movies too!
By the way, the woman in the photo is Millicent Patrick, who was the amazing concept designer for the creature. Unfortunately she was pushed aside by her male counterparts of the time who accepted most of the credit for her success.
My first take of the H.P. Lovecraft short story classic. Lovecraft was the master of the "less is more" style of writing. Tune in as I talk about this piece of his work, it's impact on other pieces of horror I love, plus television series and movies it influences even today!
Unreliable narration? Check!
Heavy internal monologues? Right here!
Almost no action? Present and accounted for!
My reaction? I LOVE IT!!!
SPOILER-FREE reviews of two classic vampire short stories, Stephen King's One for the Road and Joe Hill's Abraham's Boys.
I'm taking a break from horror movies and giving fiction a look. Join me as I read Stephen King's classic short story, The Lawnmower Man. We've got servants of the god Pan! We've got overgrown lawns! We've got schizophrenic sex maniacs! We've got it all!
Hope you enjoy!
