With no fewer than 23 simple tricks, Chris Fagan transformed his Lions from 0–3 to premiers! We had very different Grand Final viewing experiences, so that helped feed into our game breakdowns. We also send off the 2024 men's season with postmortems of the last two clubs.

It's state v state and chaos v control as the grand final approaches. Victorians may see it's 125 years in the making, but it's honestly got a much longer story than that. Plus, we look back on the prelim losers and hash out some Brownlow discourse.

In which two California brothers rank the top 3 players of each and every AFL game in 2024. Yes, we really did this — and it's much faster and better paced than whatever the "real" Brownlow was the night before.

Maybe it'll take a voyage to outer space for the Power to fix the problems that are right under their nose. Or maybe they just need a fresh set of eyes on things, because it seems obvious to us — and the Swans. Saturday's prelim delivered much more on the drama, setting up a Grand Final matchup some people say coming… just taking a more twisting path to get there.

Trust us, this title doesn't make as much sense as you think. It's final four time, but first we send off those vanquished in the semis. Then we get down to this weekend's two-game bill, bridging the gaps between earlier 2024 meetings and finals trends.

Listeners, this is footy manifest! Two semis with a combined margin of eight points gave us enough drama for an entire home-and-away round. Get your hand off your fast-skip button! …Ah, yes. I see that you know your Joe Daniher well.

Coaching uncertainty is a big theme on this preview, between the Elimination Final losers and a club potentially bound for straight sets… again. The two Semi-Finals have histories of close September matchups, so we're looking forward to their next chapters!

Finals Week 1 averaged out to be awesome because one game carried it. Benjamin got to enjoy that game with company, while Ethan caught up and missed out on the real-time fun. In each the three less competitive games, we were proven quite correct on the coaching front.

Finals time is here! Happiness and cheer! …or lots of stress. Benjamin and Ethan give the short and long of why each club can or can't take home the flag as they preview the qualifiers and eliminators. (Don't mind the title.)

All around the men's footy sphere, it's finals this and finals that. The 10 non-finals clubs might as well have folded if not for trade talk. Well, we rightfully think that's bullshit. In this two-part special, we take a deeper look into each club that's already got players traveling to… Thailand, or… Bali, or… maybe here, Stateside!
