America's Most Haunted

Destination America’s new hit paranormal show GHOSTS IN MY HOUSE (Sundays at 8p) follows homeowners who believe they live in a haunted home, and turn to renowned psychic Nadine Mercey and paranormal investigator Michelle McCay for answers. The series leaves audiences wondering who or what could be lurking in their home!

For 20 years, Nadine Mercey worked in real estate. She rose quickly to become one of Canada's top realtors. Her success came from an uncanny ability to intuitively understand the needs and motivations of her clients, the realization of which led to a new life. Soon she was experiencing great vibrational development, becoming a medical intuitive, helping doctors identify illnesses in their patients, naturally helping hundreds of people to feel better.

Nadine was the first natural healer in Canada to be certified by insurance companies to operate without the direction of a physician, and the first to be recognized by leading directors and scientists of the Canadian Mental Health Association.

Nadine also is a director of the Canadian National Autism Foundation, volunteers at long-term health care facilities in Toronto, works with CEO's of leading teaching hospitals; and is a TV writer, producer, host, and now star of GHOSTS IN MY HOUSE. We are delighted to speak with her!

America's Most Haunted Radio talks with THE AFTERLIFE FILES creator Todd Moster.

An effort to mount one of the most ambitious and decisive scientific explorations of Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP) launched January 28 on crowd-funding website Kickstarter.com.

THE AFTERLIFE FILES aspires to be a combined scientific expedition and 13-episode TV series designed to get to the bottom of EVP claims. Featuring a collaboration of experienced EVP researchers, skeptics, mainstream scientists, and families seeking contact with departed loved ones, the series will document a landmark effort to solve one of the greatest mysteries of all time.

The Kickstarter project is wildly ambitious at $500k and only 40 days long, but "there are a lot of people out there who are fascinated by this subject. If we can reach them and get them to back us with a contribution that's comfortable for them - it could be just $10, $50, $100 or more - we may be able to go into production as early as April," says Moster, a  trial attorney and well known executive recruiter in the legal profession, who also created the EVP short documentary BREAKING THE BARRIER.

AMHRadio is hosted by Eric Olsen and "Haunted Housewife" Theresa Argie.

America's Most Haunted Radio talks with writer/director CHRIS SPARLING about the making of fascinating faux-documentary possession movie THE ATTICUS INSTITUTE.

Anchor Bay Entertainment presents disturbing horror thriller THE ATTICUS INSTITUTE, from producer of THE CONJURING Peter Safran, released January 20st, 2015. Written and directed by Chris Sparling (BURIED) in his directorial debut, THE ATTICUS INSTITUTE stars Rya Khilstedt (DEXTER), William Mapother (LOST, THE GRUDGE), Harry Groener (BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER), John Rubenstein (ANGEL) and Sharon Maughan (THE BANK JOB).

Dr. Henry West founded The Atticus Institute in the early 1970s to test individuals expressing extrasensory abilities: E.S.P., clairvoyance, psychokinesis, etc. Despite witnessing noteworthy cases, nothing could have prepared Dr. West and his colleagues for Judith Winstead. She outperformed every subject they had ever studied – soon gaining the attention of the U.S. Department of Defense, who subsequently took control of the research facility. The more experiments they conducted on Judith, the clearer it became that her abilities were the manifestation of evil forces within her - there are powers that exist in this world that simply cannot be controlled.

Chris Sparling is from Providence, Rhode Island. He wrote the 2010 film BURIED, for which he won "Best Original Screenplay" from the National Board of Review of Motion Pictures, as well as a Goya Award from the Spanish Academy of Cinematic Art and Sciences. His Black List script, ATM, was produced by Gold Circle Films and released by IFC in 2012. His most recent script, SEA OF TREES,starring Matthew McConaughey and directed by Gus Van Sant will be released in 2015.

The Haunted Housewives -- Theresa Argie and Cathi Weber -- have become one of the leading paranormal investigation teams in the country, contributing their ghostly adventures to the America's Most Haunted book, of which Theresa is co-author with Eric Olsen; leading a number of fundraisers for worthy historic locations; and winning their episode of paranormal competition show Paranormal Challenge.

Theresa and Cathi (Willoughby Ghost Walk, Haunted Willoughby) are two independent, creative women who look beyond what convention might dictate in the ever changing world of paranormal investigation. They delve deeply into the history that shapes the situation that leads to the haunting. They are known to operate outside the realm of what is currently popular or acceptable while applying their own distinctive investigative techniques. Applying many combined years of experience, they listen carefully as you chronicle your current situation, diligently research your historic and present day property, expertly investigate your paranormal claims and activity, and pursue a creative solution when requested.

In the episode we discuss Haunted Housewives investigations chronicled in America's Most Haunted book including Ohio State Reformatory, Waverly Hills Asylum, Lemp Mansion, Willoughby Coal, Knickerbocker Hotel; and their recently completed fundraising season at Painesville Depot, Greenwood Farm, Lake County History Center, and Para-Ex 2014.

On this week's episode of America's Most Haunted Radio, we talk with haunted music pioneers Midnight Syndicate.

For almost two decades, Northeast Ohio-native composers Edward Douglas and Gavin Goszka have been known as Midnight Syndicate, creating symphonic soundtracks to imaginary films that facilitate a transcendental and adventurous escape into the secret dimensions of the mind's eye.

To many of their fans, they are gothic music pioneers brewing a signature blend of orchestral horror music and movie-style sound effects. To others, they remain the first "haunted house band" that forever changed the Halloween music genre and became a staple of the October holiday season.

After seventeen years, fourteen studio albums, three soundtracks, and a motion picture, for the recently completed 2014 Halloween season, Midnight Syndicate teamed up with the world famous amusement park, Cedar Point, to launch their first live performances. Midnight Syndicate Live! Legacy of Shadows -- a multimedia horror-themed concert blending live music, theatre, and film -- ran weekends at Cedar Point's 18th annual HalloWeekends event.

The multimedia horror music concert was called "top-notch and ambitious," "brilliant and artistically creative," and "a must see" by audiences and press alike. "We couldn't be happier with how the show came together," said Edward Douglas, "The response and entire experience has been amazing."
