  • Patricia Cori - Novelist (THE EMISSARY), Environmentalist, Spiritual Visionary
In her debut novel, THE EMISSARY, internationally renowned author/environmentalist/UFOlogist/spiritual visionary/adventurer Patricia Cori weaves a compelling fantasy that speaks to the future of life on this planet, and beyond.

Within minutes of each other, three chilling events take place around the globe. In Los Angeles, hundreds of blackbirds drop out of the sky, zapped dead mid-flight. In Maine, residents awaken to find miles of beach covered with countless fish. And in New Zealand, 150 whales and dolphins lie dead or dying on a resort beach. A strange grid-like pattern in the clouds hangs low and menacing over the desperate scene.

Jamie Hastings, psychic researcher and telepath, forges a deep soul connection with the dying whales, which leads to a journey at sea that reveals a conspiracy to annihilate a colony of peaceful alien beings that have formed a “city of lights” in the deep, which could also destroy all life on the planet in the process.

Patricia Cori is a go-to authority on alternative realities and exopolitics: both on ET/UFO questions, and interdimensional life forms that penetrate the multiverse. Cori is a regular columnist for UFO TODAY and she is the keynote speaker at the Glastonbury Symposium 7/2714.

Cori has been a key voice in the alternative media for decades, with seven bestselling books, published in more than 20 languages.

In 2012, she founded the global non-profit association, Save Earth’s Oceans, Inc., dedicated to restoring the balance of the fragile ocean ecosystems and saving the whales and dolphins from whaling, slaughter and exploitation.

Cori has now turned her talent to screenwriting, having completed a full-length feature script of THE EMISSARY.

  • AMH Talks Wolf Creek 2 with John Jarratt
When it comes to movie villains, Australia has a top contender: John Jarratt. Jarratt made a name for himself in the 2005 horror film Wolf Creek. Based (loosely) on actual events, Wolf Creek struck a chord with Aussies and movie goers all over the world.

Jarratt's character, Mick Taylor, was inspired by Ivan Milat who committed a series of grisly killings that came to be known as "The Backpack Murders."

Now Jarratt reprises his role in the sequel, Wolf Creek 2. It is slotted for an American release on May 16th.

In the new film we find a young German couple backpacking in the wilds of the Australian Outback. Their vacation in paradise is cut short when the come across psychopathic pig-shooter Mick Taylor.

In a thrilling game of cat and mouse, Taylor relentlessly stalks his prey through the desolate barren Outback. Their struggle for survival seems utterly hopeless. When an unsuspecting motorist attempts to help one of Taylor's victims, he too becomes part of the gruesome game.

It's killer vs captive in a battle of brutality and wits in one of the most imaginative torture scenes ever filmed.

The film has moments of pure natural beauty interspersed with sheer brutality. And oh, that laugh, that psychotic unmistakable laugh!

John Jarratt joins the Haunted Housewife for what is sure to be an electrifying interview on May 13th at 10pmE.

  • Talking BATES MOTEL with Outstanding NESTOR CARBONELL (DARK KNIGHT, LOST)
In BATES MOTEL, the PSYCHO prequel series on A&E (Mondays at 10pE/P), the astonishingly flexible NESTOR CARBONELL plays Sheriff Alex Romero, riding herd over White Pine Bay, the unhinged drama's fictional setting.

Romero is the "moral" center of the town, although morality is relative in this upscale human sewer. Imposing and discerning, Romero got involved in Norma Bates' life after an unfortunate incident at the motel early in season 1. "I am the last person who you want on your bad side, Mrs. Bates," he intoned with stoney seriousness.

This season he has become - perhaps against his better judgment - even more involved with the Bates, residing at the motel after his house was torched by a reckless local drug kingpin, and he has become friendly and uneasily familiar with Norma.

Nestor Carbonell was born in New York City and variously raised in Mexico, Venezuela, Florida, Connecticut, the Bahamas, and London. He graduated from Harvard University with a degree in English, where a first-year drama course led to his interest in performing.

Nestor is most often recognized for his integral role in the acclaimed series LOST as the iconic Richard Alpert. This role, as well as his turn as Mayor Anthony Garcia in Christopher Nolan's THE DARK KNIGHT series has shown Nestor's versatility, range, and complexity as an actor.

His additional TV credits include RINGER, CANE, HOUSE, SCRUBS, MONK, and SUDDENLY SUSAN, for which he earned two ALMA Awards for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series. Nestor currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife, actress Shannon Kenny, and their two sons.

Terri Daniel, ordained interfaith minister, clinical chaplain, author, and intuitive counselor who helps dying and grieving individuals to discover a more spiritually spacious understanding of death and beyond.

"We've all found, throughout our years of practice, that understanding how consciousness continues after the death of the body is a key to providing wisdom and comfort for the bereaved and overcoming the fear of death."

  • Psychic Medium Kristy Robinett, Star of Investigation Discovery's RESTLESS SOULS
Investigation Discovery lifts the veil between the living and the dead with new one-hour crime special RESTLESS SOULS, premiering Monday, April 14 at 9/8c.

The program examines the 2004 murder mystery of Ashley Howley and how a complete stranger, psychic medium Kristy Robinett, helped solve the case and bring closure to Howley’s traumatized family.

Interviews with Robinett, law enforcement, and loved ones illustrate the three-year police investigation, alongside Robinett’s independent search for answers using the victim’s own ghostly clues as her guide.

After calling the police to report a break in at her Columbus, OH, apartment, 20-year-old Ashley Howley went missing. Her car was discovered abandoned in a parking lot nearby, but the case went cold for more than a year.

Then one night not far from Howley’s family home in Michigan, Kristy Robinett was awakened by the ghost of a young woman who called herself Ashley and claimed to have been murdered. For months, Howley’s spirit revisited Robinett to offer more clues about her body’s location. Robinett's three-year journey ended with a shocking discovery with profound implications regarding life after death.

Kristy Robinett is a psychic medium and author who began seeing spirits at the age of three. When she was eight, the spirit of her deceased grandfather helped her escape from a would-be kidnapper, and it was then that Robinett realized the Other Side wasn’t so far away. As an adult, she is often called upon by law enforcement to examine cold cases in a new light and from a different angle.

  • Werewolf Series SILVER Author RHIANNON HELD
Rhiannon Held is author of the SILVER series, an urban fantasy series about werewolves from Tor. In her day job she works as a professional archaeologist. Unfortunately, given that it’s real rather than fictional archaeology, fedoras, bullwhips, aliens, and dinosaurs are in short supply. Most of her work is done on the computer, using databases to organize data, and graphics programs to illustrate it.

In REFLECTED, the third book of the series that began with her debut novel, SILVER, Rhiannon Held continues the secret lives of the werewolf packs that live and hunt alongside human society. Silver and her mate Andrew Dare are pack leaders of the entire North American werewolf population, and that makes the more traditional packs in Europe very nervous indeed.

In book 2 of the series, TARNISHED, Andrew Dare finds his mate in Silver, but they haven’t found the pack they can call home. Andrew has baggage—his violent history with the packs of Spain and the rumors of his lack of control. And then there’s Silver—the werewolf who has lost her wild self to a monster’s assault, and who can no longer shift forms.

In SILVER, Andrew Dare is a werewolf. He’s the enforcer for the Roanoke pack, and responsible for capturing or killing any Were intruders in Roanoke’s territory. But the lone Were he’s tracking doesn’t smell or act like anyone he’s ever encountered. And when he catches her, it doesn’t get any better. She’s beautiful, she’s crazy, and someone has tortured her by injecting silver into her veins. Silver represents a terrible threat to every Were on the continent.

  • Documentary Filmmakers Josh Zeman, Rachel Mills of Chiller's KILLER LEGENDS
On Sunday, 3/16 at 8pE, CHILLER debuts its new 2-hour special, KILLER LEGENDS. The horror documentary follows filmmakers Josh Zeman and Rachel Mills as they investigate the true crimes behind these urban legends while exploring how the myths evolved and why we continue to believe.

The documentary probes the following legends of:

The Candyman: Though the legend is prolific, in actuality there is only one documented case of a child dying from tainted candy: 8-year-old Timothy O’Bryan, who was poisoned on Halloween by a real-life miscreant who used the legend to hide his crime, earning him the fateful nickname.

The Baby-Sitter and the Man Upstairs: While the babysitter has become the go-to victim in so many horror films, does the same hold true in real life? Tragically, yes, as the filmmakers discover in unsolved case of Janett Christman, a babysitter slain in Columbia, MO, in 1950.

The Hookman: Based upon the legend of two teens lovers terrorized by a madman with a hook for a hand, filmmakers investigate the case of a killer known as The Phantom, who in 1946 attacked five couples parked on lovers’ lanes in Texarkana.

The Killer Clown: The filmmakers investigate “phantom clown” scares that have spontaneously occurred since the 1980s. As the duo explores Chicago’s creepy clown past, from John Wayne Gacy to Bozo, they attempt to answer the question of how clowns became so evil, and why they continue to haunt our nightmares.

Joshua Zeman has been creating independent films for over 10 years. His critically-acclaimed horror documentary CROPSEY, was critic’s pick with The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and Roger Ebert, and was “one of the scariest films of the year” in 2010.
