Story Transcript:

Cy: Yng nghanol tymestl serth y Beacons sy'n creu sŵn hudolus, roedd tri ffrind yn mentro allan yn chwilio am y dŵr arallfydol hwnnw.
En: In the midst of the fierce storm in the Beacons, creating magical sounds, three friends ventured out searching for that otherworldly water.

Cy: Gwyneth oedd y llawn antur, gyda’i llygaid mawr llawn bywyd yn chwilio am ddirgel bethau’r byd naturiol.
En: Gwyneth was full of adventure, with her large eyes full of life, seeking the world's natural mysteries.

Cy: Byddai Aneira, gyda’i chwilfrydedd cyson, wrth ei bodd yn mynd gyda Gwyneth ar y teithiau hyn, heddiw yn rhannu ei hangerdd i weld y rhaeadr cudd.
En: Aneira, with her constant curiosity, loved accompanying Gwyneth on these journeys, today sharing her passion to see the hidden waterfall.

Cy: Ond Emrys, ystyriol a gofalus, teimlai ychydig o beryg wrth i’r awyrgylch o'u cwmpas droi’n wintaidd a thanbaid.
En: But Emrys, thoughtful and cautious, felt a little danger as the atmosphere around them turned wintry and intense.

Cy: “Mae’n edrych yn ddifrifol, Gwyneth,” meddai Emrys, yn taflu golwg gofalgar dros ei ysgwydd.
En: “It looks serious, Gwyneth,” said Emrys, casting a caring glance over his shoulder.

Cy: “Efallai ddylen ni ddod o hyd i loches.”
En: “Perhaps we should find shelter.”

Cy: “Ond mae’r rhaeadr jyst yna, Emrys,” atebodd Gwyneth, ei llais yn crynnu’n llawn cyffro.
En: “But the waterfall is just there, Emrys,” answered Gwyneth, her voice trembling with excitement.

Cy: “Bydd yn ystyriaeth berffaith o’n cyfeillgarwch.”
En: “It'll be the perfect testament to our friendship.”

Cy: Aneira wnaeth orau i gytuno: "Rydyn ni mor agos. Gawn ni drio?"
En: Aneira did her best to agree: "We're so close. Can we try?"

Cy: Roedd y goleuni’n pylu, ac roedd gwynt oer y rhew yn eu hylifo.
En: The light was fading, and the cold icy wind chilled them.

Cy: Roedd traed yn suddo mewn ia a chwynt eirth, gan droi'r tir yn beryglus.
En: Their feet sank into ice and bear-like gusts, turning the ground dangerous.

Cy: Roedd y cryndod yn cynyddu gan ymbil arnynt i stopio.
En: The trembling intensified, pleading with them to stop.

Cy: Ond Gwyneth, angen dyfalbarhau yn heriol, camodd ymlaen.
En: But Gwyneth, stubbornly determined to persevere, stepped forward.

Cy: Ar y dibyn, roedd pawb yn gweld dim ond tywyllwch.
En: On the precipice, all they saw was darkness.

Cy: Y rhaeadr, fel addewid prin a basio, oedd ar ddychymyg Gwyneth—ond fe slywadodd ar y glwyd, gwynt y rhew yn ei wthio.
En: The waterfall, like a fleeting promise, was in Gwyneth's imagination—but she noticed the edge as the icy wind pushed her.

Cy: Dechreuodd hi lithro, pan oedd lladd Emrys a llon Emrys yr un pryd yn dod at ei gilydd i’w chrafu'n ôl yn saff.
En: She began to slip, when both worried and joyous reactions of Emrys combined to claw her back to safety.

Cy: Anerchodd Emrys yn galonogedig wrth eu tynnu yn ôl i ddiogelwch: “Mae cymryd risg weithiau yn angenrheidiol, ond dim ond os yw’n diogel, Gwyneth.”
En: Emrys addressed them encouragingly as he pulled them back to safety: “Taking risks is sometimes necessary, but only if it's safe, Gwyneth.”

Cy: Yn olaf, fe ddaethant o hyd i ogof fechan, lleoliaeth dwym ac esmwyth sy’n cynnig lloches rhag y storm enfawr.
En: Eventually, they found a small cave, a warm and cozy haven offering shelter from the immense storm.

Cy: Roedd Aneira yn clymu cwfli ei chot agos at ei phen, wedi gwerthfawrogi enwogrwydd Emrys a'i ddoethineb.
En: Aneira tightened the hood of her coat close to her head, appreciating Emrys's fame and wisdom.

Cy: Wrth i'r eira roi tlysni i'r dirwedd, fe gwrandawodd pawb ar soud o fwye awel wedi ymlâdd.
En: As the snow added beauty to the landscape, they all listened to the sound of a gentle breeze winding down.

Cy: Wrth aros drwy’r nos, yn llawn cynhesrwydd cyfeillion, dysgodd Gwyneth fod ganddi mwy i’w ennill o wrando ar y rheiny sydd o'i chwmpas.
En: While waiting through the night, filled with the warmth of friendship, Gwyneth learned she had much to gain from listening to those around her.

Cy: Er nad oeddent wedi cyrraedd y rhaeadr, roedd eu perthynas wedi dyfnhau, fel rhaniad ensawdd y Beacons ei hun.
En: Although they did not reach the waterfall, their bond had deepened, like the intangible cleft of the Beacons itself.

Cy: Y bore wedyn, roedd y eira’n llonydd, y tymestl wedi pasio.
En: The next morning, the snow was still, and the storm had passed.

Cy: Roedd teithiau newyddion yn aros.
En: New journeys awaited.

Cy: Efallai y flwyddyn nesaf, efallai y ddysg gan y tro hwn yn eu harwain yn wir, ond roedd un peth yn sicr — dim ond ymgais garedig sydd ei angen i gadw’r holl anturiaethau.
En: Perhaps next year, maybe the lessons from this time would guide them truly, but one thing was certain — a kind attempt is all that's needed to keep all their adventures alive.
