Though finances did not contribute to their decision on New Orleans, they did consider their guests in mind and along the way definitely ended up spending less than they would have if they had a NYC wedding for 178 people.

We're bringing it back to the basics with today's episode on TRACKING YOUR EXPENSES! Yes, I literally mean tracking every single dollar that comes out of your pocket. Why? Well with a few months left of 2022, what better way to start then to take control of our money.

Tracking my expenses was the FIRST step I took when I started my money journey in 2017 and it helped uncover a lot for me. When I knew exactly where my money was going, I could make a plan that was realistic and based on facts about what I was doing.

This doesn't need to be something you do forever... But if you're just getting started OR need a reset, then tracking can be the way to go.
