It's rare that I get to do a comic book interview that helps me fill in gaps in my knowledge of history but this one sure did. On today's episode, Amit Tishler joined me to chat about his new project Edenfrost from Mad Cave Studios. This four issue series focuses on two siblings displaced and fleeing the conflict during the Russian Civil War and their mysterious helper in the form of a golem. This is a deeply personal story for Amit and we got a chance to talk about the varied influences on the project which range from the forgotten pogroms to Full Metal Alchemist. It was a ton of fun and this will not be the last time you hear Amit on the show as I'm excited to have him back next year.
