we can sense when things aren't quite right - we also have a sense of how things ought to go - Luke's retelling of Jesus' story will often jar with our expectations - but that's exactly how it should be

Can we have confidence in the things we've heard about Jesus? Can we trust the Bible as a record of who he is, what he did and how he feels towards us?
