Episode 91 features news on live shows in Seoul, Gimhae and Daegu, including one with live streaming on YouTube. There’s also new music from Seoul bands Audrey No and Cotoba.
This week covers new music from Yeseo, End These Days, and Lang Lee, along with news on live shows in Jeju by Kang Asol & Im Bora, and a number of acts at Club Day & Night. Desert Flower play an EP release show in Seoul, and 88 celebrate the release of their first full length album in Busan.
This week the podcast is a little late coming out due to a spinal injury, and as a result the focus is more on new music than live shows. There's new music from acts in Seoul, Daejeon, Daegu, and Busan.

Episode 87 has news on a live streaming festival, along with new music out of Jeju, Seoul, Busan, and Daegu. Indie053 has organized 6 days of live streams which feature a host of Daegu acts, while in Seoul you can catch Goosedown playing live at AOR.
Episode 86 brings news on free shows in Daegu and Busan, and one great line up in Seoul. There's also first plays for new bands Citibeck and Josee Hash from Daegu, and news on the first album by Band 88.
A number of shows are taking place this week, though all require the use of masks and hand sanitizer, and recording names, contact numbers and body temperature. There's also new music from Polyp and Dabda, and a 42 track compilation album in support of GBN Live House in Seoul.
With the resurgence of Covid-19 cases in Korea, many shows have been cancelled this week. As a result there's a lot of new music to check out, with Daegu bands Santalking and Hon'z, Busan's Hathaway, Desert Flower from Seoul, and Banana Moon from Jeju all putting out new songs recently.
Episode 83 starts with Fine, and finishes with I'll Be Fine. It was not intentional, but a nice message to run with as everyone continues to deal with the chaos of Covid-19. There's new music from Igloo, Here O, Chicken Cage, and Jjangyou, covering Daegu, Ulsan, and Busan between them. There's also news on 3 live shows between Seoul and Busan.
Recently I posted a question on Instagram stories asking if followers wanted the podcast to cover all of Korea, or to keep the focus on the scenes outside of Seoul. The response was overwhelmingly in favor of covering all of the country. It's hard to break the habit of only looking at music from the south, so episode 82 is a dive into the Seoul music scene, and I'll play some new releases that caught my attention over the last few weeks and months.
