A short one for you this week, but I want to portray my experience of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. It was an amazing spectacle, and an event that I always treasure going to. Here's my first episode of 2022! It's all about cancel culture, something that has definitely been more prevalent within the social media age. I discuss what it means, how being 'cancelled' can affect people, and the situation with Polly Vadasz (owner of Sighh Studios) being cancelled because of some absolutely horrific past tweets.

With the 20th anniversary of 9/11 coming up, I speak to Dean Rotbart, author of the book September Twelfth. The book concerns the story of the Wall Street Journal's staff (whose offices were right next to the World Trade Center and rendered unusable by 10am on 9/11), and how they worked together to get a September 12th edition of the paper out. We discuss the Pulitzer Prize-winning coverage, how the other US bureaus helped out with the next day's paper, and an amazing story of the last ever receipt given out at the World Trade Center.
