For as long as ITV News at Ten host Tom Bradby has been a broadcast journalist he has also been a writer, penning seven books, a film and a TV drama. He joins me to discuss his latest novel Secret Service, reveals the research process he undertakes before writing a book and what he has learned between writing his first book in 1998 to his latest in 2019.
We also discuss his recent mental health troubles with insomnia, why he thinks it's important for people to speak up and the crisis he went through before getting help.
