Patty Jenkins takes us back to the 1980's for her follow up Wonder Woman adventure and other decisions were also made! No lasso of truth required to reveal Ian's opinion of the film but what did Sean think? Gulp... More importantly tell us what YOU thought, join us twitter and tell Ian he is a grumpy fart that needs to switch his brain off....or not if you find yourself in the grumpy fart category as well!

The world may still be burning but dammit Ian and Sean are going to bring some much needed positivity to the proceedings. To that effect they will dedicate the next 6 weeks to declaring their passion for their most re-watched and loved films. Not what the critics think, not even what the world thinks, but the films they think just have to be rewound and watched again: The Rewindables if you will.
The chaps start off strong with Sean's all time favourite movie Stand By Me, a movie Ian has never seen!
In other news Sean accidentally recommends Black Mirror whilst recommending two other movies and Ian has the glorious realisation that he's interacted with one of the cast of Stand By Me without even realising it in a "huh that's weird" moment.
Next week, its Ian's turn with Tom Hardy's masterpiece performance in LOCKE

What a decade this last year has been. Ian and Sean are joined by their Husband Albert for the podcast's first annual Year in Review episode. As much as the world was dominated by a Pandemic, plenty of great TV and film was unleashed on the world...and Ian chose to watch Extraction instead. Fortunately Sean and Albert DID watch some of the amazing content that came this year so listen up and their opinions on The Trial of the Chicago Seven, Normal People, Blood of Zeus, Soul, Birds of Prey, 1917, JoJo Rabbit, The Morning Show and The Mandalorian. Naturally The chaps also do a deep dive into the swathe of Star Trek shows that came out but more importantly update you on who's currently in the running to be chief engineer of the USS Enterprise D....
Tenet, go away.

Merry Christmas Everyone!! Ian and Sean's gift to you is a bonus episode on Christmas day no less! In all honesty this is a gift for Ian as he is finally allowed to deliver his 1 hour and 40 minute lecture (and it is a lecture) on that thing in LA and why Die Hard is one of the greatest movies ever made. Poor Sean is still trying to recover his brains from the courtyard of Nakatomi Plaza. Join the chaps as they wrap up their Christmas series and also discuss which shows they are most excited for from the 47 recently announced by Disney!
Happy holidays everyone and stay safe!

We warn you now, this episode is rough. This week Ian has what can only be described as a "funny turn" and decides to tear strips out of one of Sean's favourite Christmas movies. Rightly or wrongly, there's no way Ian can bench press his way out of this one. Yes this week the chaps, with the help of Arnold Schwarzenegger, show us the true meaning of Christmas; indulging in rampant, unfettered consumerism whilst also disappointing your first born in the "Jingle the Way".
...and Ian forgets how to pronounce "tomatoes".

Christmas continues on the Pod as Ian and Sean take note from Parenting for Morons The Movie: Home Alone. Yes Kevin is the villain of this story in every way and the wet bandits weren't all bad. If like us you want to skip ahead to the brutal beatings, our analysis starts at 1 hour and 4 minutes, you filthy animal.
Join the discussion on Twitter and let us know your thoughts on the Christmas House of Horrors that is Home Alone!
Let us know what other Christmas movies you would like to see on the Pod! If Ian hates it, you're onto a winner!

This week our honourary 3rd host returns to help us pin down exactly why 1984's classic The Neverending Story has such a neverending legacy. It's Falcor. Ian has more to say about The Crown (find him on twitter) and something suprising to say about the live action Aladdin move, Albert is befuddled by Tom and Jerry and Sean is promoted to third most liked member of the pod; congrats! Also, Sphinx breasts.
