Beyond the political analysis of the films which recently has been mistakenly said to be biased against Trump, and the blatant parallels of the good guys fighting space Nazis, I discovered that if you look carefully at the films, you may just see an analog planetary system that may look familiar to those who have been following the announcements last year of exoplanets which could sustain life.

We know that exoplanet research is in its infancy but by some estimates there are 700 quintillion terrestrial like or Earth-like planets in the universe. I don’t think we can envision what a million or a billion looks like let alone a quintillion and about 600 more quintillion added to that.

With those estimated terrestrial planets, I don’t see how anyone can say there is absolutely no way there could be other life in space.
