Welcome to a very special bonus episode where the "Let Nothing Move You" podcast and "The Whole Church Podcast" collaborate in an interview with Dr Thomas J Oord to discuss his newest book, "The Death of Omnipotence and Birth of Amipotence"! Hosts Joshua Noel and Christian Ashley both present their different views on the power of God and the inerrancy of Scripture and discuss with Dr Oord, his view that we should completely do away with both of these words. Can God create a rock that He can't lift? Can God tell a lie? Does the Bible say that God has all power? Does the Bible say that God created alone? Can God really be loving if He has the power to stop sexual assaults from happening and chooses not to? If God is not all powerful, is He a wimp? Can God be God if He is restrained in His power and exists in our own timeline? And how can we have unity in the Church with such fundamental disagreements? We discuss it all in this one! To hear more thought provoking conversations like this one, be sure to check out the Anazao Ministries Podcast - AMP Network website to see all of our other shows!

There are a lot of world religions out there. As Christians, we need to better understand their history and beliefs so that way we can talk to people with tact and intelligently rather than bashing them with a Bible. Here I give the run down on Jehovah Witnesses and the complicated history of the Adventists.

We can worship God with our minds by pondering the things of God, who He is, and how creation relates to its Creator. If you are looking for a podcast with all the answers about God and Theology, this is not the show for you! But, if you are looking for a show that will leave you with more questions than answers about the Divine, so you can struggle to worship God better, then join me in my adventure to love God better with my feeble brain!

If you're looking for all the answers about how God relates to time, then keep looking! This episode will leave us all with even more questions about what time is and what that implies about the Divine! What is time? Did God create time? Does God have temporal parts? Is time fluid and dynamic, or is it more static? What does the Bible mean by "in the beginning" and what was God doing before that? How does gravity and relative speed effect time? Is there any standard cosmic clock, or does time vary everywhere? Can God exist without space and time? Is God's powers limited by time?

If you are looking for all the answers about who God is and what His character is like, then keep looking! Rather than giving any answers, I hope to leave us all with even more questions about the Divine! Is God male or female or non-binary? Is God "they / them"? What is God like? Is God love or Wisdom? What is Good? How does logic help us understand Biblical statements about who God is? Does creation tell us anything about God? How do we know God is even real? What can we actually know about God and why does it matter?

If you want answers to all life's biggest, theological questions, then you should find another show to listen to! This show is designed to struggle with God, relate with Him deeper, and worship Him with our minds by asking more questions! What is theology? How easy is it to define "religion", "theology", "God", "the universe", or "the Trinity"? Is God male or female? Is God a "they / them"? Is God non-binary? What do other religions believe about God? What kinds of theologies are there? What can we know about God? How do we learn about God? Has God revealed Himself to us, and if so - how?

Hosts, Joshua Noel and TJ Blackwell, are joined by Charleston Southern University's professor of worship, Andrew Lucius, to wrap up our "Church Services" series! How important are our worship in song portions of our Church services? Should we have hymns sang throughout our services, or should we do more modern worship at the beginning of our services? Is there a preferred structure for worship in our Churches? How should our Churches choose worship songs and worship leaders? Is it important to see how worship is done in Catholic Churches, Liturgical Protestant settings, and non-liturgical settings? How should we think of more contemporary Christian music? What theology is taught in our songs? How should worship leaders prepare for service? We ask all this and more in this one! Join in our conversations on our Discord Server and Facebook group!
