Had another schedule mix up, so you know what that means, right? Checking out the Apocrypha and Pseudepigrapha, of course! This time I'll be covering the Book of Creation.

What is the Book of Creation? Who wrote it? Why isn't it canon to the Bible? How does God appear and is Abraham behind its being written? How important is the Hebrew language to understanding it? How many times will Christian corpse because of the insanity of the writer's logic?

This episode is a rebroadcast.

We live in a new world, and the church needs to be ready to minister in this new world.  In this episode, I reflect on Bob Whitesel's book "Growing the Post-Pandemic Church" to see what he thought ministry was going to be like beyond 2020.  What adjustments would the church need to make to keep ministry alive and meet the needs of their communities?  Find out in today's episode!

Don't meddle, remember you promise.

Welcome to my dojo, this is Kung Fu Pizza Party, and in today's episode I am getting the party started early as I celebrate Bruce Lee's birthday with a review of The Big Boss aka Fist of Fury. In this review, I breakdown the film looking at how this idea of not meddling in other people's affairs is a major plot device and theme for the film. In our Martial Art Cinema History lesson, I talk about how James Tien was the co-star to the stars. I also give my take on why I do not like how modern martial art heavy movies are shot.

Our show focuses around our favorite fandoms that we discuss from a Christian perspective. We do not try to put Jesus into all our favorite stories, but rather we try to ask the questions the IPs are asking, then addressing those questions from our perspective. We are not all ordained, but we are the Priests to the Geeks, in the sense that we try to serve as mediators between the cultures around our favorite fandoms and our faith communities.

It's like a therapy session on the roller coaster of emotions. Jason Derulo, the election, and dogs. Come laugh, cry, rage, and chat with us.

In a special episode, Joshua Noel is joined by Will Rose to discuss some life events, thoughts on the election (recorded before we had the results), and much more! This is not a normal episode, but more like an extended version of our God Moments segment.

.

Where do we see the Divine in our darkest times? What should Christians do now that the USA election is over? How do we process trauma? How can you support Joshua and his family in these times?

.

This week Christian is joined by Brandon Knight of the My Seminary Life Podcast (https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/my-seminary-life/id1610626999) to discuss Leviticus 19 and 20.

Why do we need to respect our parents? Why do we avoid idols and what are they now? How is Ruth foreshadowed here? Are stealing and lying sinful? How are we to look out for the disabled? Why are we to love our neighbor as ourselves? How were the Israelites not to emulate the Canaanites? What's so wrong about consulting mediums and spiritualists? Why should we love the foreigner in our midst? How can we be holy like God is holy? Why is sexual sin so evil? How can we keep to God's commandments?

How long, to sing this song?

Welcome back to My Seminary Life. This week on the show we have another addition of Rabbit Trail. This week I kick things off by recapping my latest sermon on Psalm 40:1-3 as the first part of my series on Processing Grief. Then I launch into the story of the composition and recording of one of U2's more religious songs, 40. I also discuss the significance of the War album, and how I have grown as a preacher over the past ten years.
