Although this is just one parental experience and one child’s spiritual journey, the encouragement is for every parent. We are called to guide our children spiritually, and it doesn’t stop when they hit a certain age or when it becomes a little more complicated. The sin may be different, and the issues may be bigger, but the God we look to is the same loving, powerful God. Don’t give up now! We are our child’s advocate in every aspect, but most importantly in their spiritual journey. So let’s be encouraged, be inspired, let’s do our work, and then let’s see God do His.

We are going to delve into the conversion of nontraditional callings. Becky Glaze, a Safer Beauty and Healthy Living Educator, is joining us to share her story of how she came to live out her unique calling on her life. As a child of Medical Missionaries, she learned early on in life the importance of taking care of your body and your spirit. After leaving home she learned how she was gifted in the world of business. But it wasn’t until after she shifted careers, and was walking through a very tough season in her life, that her two worlds came together and her calling became clear. Now she lives her life as a woman on a mission to educate anyone who will listen and love on everyone that crosses her path. Listen now as we have some fun and hear some truth.

Come listen as we get to visit with my guest Deedra Bingham. She will share how her life changed when she chose to pursue God during the darkest time in her life. Her moment by moment choice to follow God revealed to her a deepening of relationship with Him and a fullness that can only be found in him. She discusses the Character of God, and how it is all about Jesus. It’s not about Jesus, it is just self-help or “try harder”, and that just falls apart. Her desire to be a part of God’s design led her to a life-long journey of pursuing Him and encouraging and mentoring other women to do the same. Because He longs for relationship with us even beyond what our longing can be.
