As much as we want to be quote-unquote good Christians, we also battle our fleshly desires. We constantly have a struggle with wanting what the world has to offer and what Jesus has to offer. We know that what Jesus has to offer is better, but we don’t always make the right choice when it comes down to it. Today we get so hung up over our first-world problems. We think it’s the end of the world when can’t find a parking spot or that we’re being persecuted when someone mocks our faith on Facebook. But could we have endured what the early Christians went through? Pastor Marc encourages you in his message today to consider what the Apostle Paul and many of the early Christians went through.
