What should we do if there are issues in the church that aren’t met? In today’s message, Pastor Marc says that we should bring them up to the church so that they can address the issues and fix them. Are there issues in your church that you see that you haven’t brought up to leadership? As a member of your church, you should bring up these issues so that the church can be better. Even if it isn’t fixed right away, it allows for your church to be alert and aware making the church a stronger body of believers.

God has given Jesus a seat as His right-hand man. In today’s message, Pastor Marc reminds us of the promise that Jesus fulfilled through His death and resurrection. The promise is eternal life through Himself. He alone allows you to live in freedom and with the hope that this world isn’t your home. Jesus died for you and me and He did it in full submission to God’s will. He wanted to die on the cross so that you could have hope through Him. Live in the hope that Jesus promised and gave today!

The apostles and the Sadducees were two very different people. One was filled with the Holy Spirit and the other with indignation. Today, Pastor Marc says that we are all filled with something, and if it isn’t the Holy Spirit we should be concerned. You see if you’re not filled with the Holy Spirit, you’re filled with something that isn’t of God. You must be filled with the spirit of God so that you can be guided by the only one who can guide you on the right path. Trusting God promises you eternal life through Christ.

When our culture deals with sin, we often allow it to happen and go against anything that goes against the sin we’re committing. In today’s message, Pastor Marc reminds us that sin was dealt with right away in Israel’s culture. When you think of sin, you should think of it like the Israelites. Sinning is never okay, and it’s up to you to correct and call out those who may be deep in sin. Even if it’s uncomfortable, it’s your job as a believer to call out those in sin and call them to righteousness in Christ.

Selfishness is an easy thing to fall into when we do something impressive. In today’s message, Pastor Marc says that whenever we do anything, it’s important that we have an audience of one. We should be doing things in the name of Jesus. He is worthy of all praise because He gives us breath in our lungs. When you do something charitable, it’s important to remember that without God nothing is possible, but with God anything is possible. You must remember to give glory to God for anything you do in life.

As much as there’s a jaded mentality out there today regarding the condition of the Church - especially when it comes to supporting each other emotionally and spiritually, as well as with material needs - this is still happening, as Pastor Marc will personally attest in today’s message. We get to be a part of this movement. Whether it’s your time, talents, or money, you can support others who are stepping out in faith and pursuing their calling to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

Far too often, we take a cowboy mindset as believers. We want to stand alone and be responsible for our own destiny. The bad news is, this doesn’t fit in with the Kingdom of God. To be a part of the Church and a Child of God is dependent on admitting your own weakness and accepting His intervention in your life. As Pastor Marc will teach in today’s message, this life can’t be lived in isolation. You need the Holy Spirit and the assistance of your fellow believers to live a healthy spiritual life.

If you’ve experienced salvation in Jesus, you do have a specific moment in your history that has more significance than any other - that moment where you acknowledged Him as your Savior and Lord. But, your Christian journey didn’t end where it began. As Pastor Marc will encourage us in today’s message, we need to be purposeful and active in our spiritual lives. When you share your testimony, what can you say is happening right now in your relationship with Christ? 

In today’s message, Pastor Marc will explain the way that Christ fulfilled and replaced the system of sacrifices and the need for priests to serve as proxies for us in God’s presence. Jesus' death completely met the requirements of the Law for a perfect sacrifice and freed us from the burden of that old system. Because of Him we can present ourselves as righteous before God and enjoy the rights of being His sons and daughters. It’s an incredible truth that should bring joy and relief to your heart.

Far too many believers are dragging the burden of sin around with them, despite this incredible truth. We can have freedom from that oppression. Not only has God offered us forgiveness through Jesus, but He’s effectively blown our sin into infinity. You can be completely free from it. While sin will continue to rear its head as we’re surrounded by this broken world, however, as Pastor Marc will encourage us in today’s message, we can live a life of joy and freedom as we trust in what Jesus has done for us.
