While Mythic Quest has unfortunately been cancelled, that won't stop us from talking about the show's universe! So we're back this summer to unpack the four episode anthology spin-off series, Side Quest.

If Yellowjackets is back, that means that your recap crew has officially returned too! Chels (@chels725), Sharai (@sharai), and Jesse (@speakupjesse) are back to recap season 3 of the show featuring their favorite little cannibals.

It's our 200th episode! 🎉🎉🎉

There's really no way that we'd rather celebrate than by talking about the Mythic Quest season finale, "Heaven and Hell."

Jenn (@notajenny) and Chels (@chels725) have a lot to say! (Jenn was an excellent secret-keeper. 🤭) They start by talking about the hilarious new role that Jo has been "demoted" to and what Brad's decision regarding Anna reveals about his character growth. 

They spend the majority of their time unpacking Ian and Poppy's relationship: how Ian talks her down from a panic attack and pushes her to go to the Netherlands, their airport goodbye, and the reveal that Ian never actually resigned from Mythic Quest.

Of course, they then walk through Ian's grand romantic gesture and that game-changing finale kiss, with Chels processing how she feels about it in real time! Spoiler alert: We really just love emotionally messy characters!

They then pitch what they'd love to see in a season five, and conclude the podcast by choosing their episode and season MVPs.

A sincere and heartfelt thank-you again to everyone who listened to us this season and who also loves this Apple TV+ show. It's the penultimate episode of Mythic Quest this season, and that means a lot of characters are coming to terms with their next steps. There's a lot of FaceTime involved. It's time to discuss "Telephone"!
