Deep within the dripping bowels of an unnamed and long forgotten Sioux Falls radio station, behind a locked door in a sub-basement bathroom, we were lucky enough to stumble across a box of rotting, gooey, stinky 2" tapes labeled only "NOT APPROVED FOR AIRPLAY" and dated sometime in the late 20's from the faded scribbles we could still decipher. After a good scrub and a bad dub over to digital we painstakingly cleaned up the audio the best we could and changed the station ID's to protect the innocent. In the end we were sitting on a mountain of episodes from a radio serial that pushed every boundry when it was recorded, and still pushes the limits of good taste today: The Pervert.

While no info has been found as of yet regarding the actors or production staff of this inceredible journey into the fetid mind of the worlds most disgusting super hero, we found it just too damn weird to sit on. So AMIA presents a look back at the golden age of radio, when golden showers were the norm and ratings were everything. A racist lady in NY is caught on tape being totally racist, then go's on the radio to solidify her madness with the public at large, so we listen to that nightmare as well. It's not all bad as we read cute notes kid's sent home from camp this summer, and most of them mention poop in some way. We pray to whatever god will listen that Tracy Morgan recovers fast and fully from his terrible car accident and listen to celebrities (in this case Kool Keith, Seth Rogan and Snoop (Lion) Dogg) reviewing movies and TV then close with a re-cap of the most recent FFFAAW, which happened to be our very own Sarah's debut art show.
