Martha Dove is a Songwriter, Educator, Speaker + Content Creator. She is a woman of faith who aspires to be a great inspiration to everyone she encounters. Martha was born and raised in the small town of Cofield, North Carolina and had very humble beginnings. She is the wife of Gorden Dove and the mother of 5 beautiful girls (Taylor, Madison, Ava, Noelle and Grace Dove). She is also an identical twin and her twin’s name is Mary Taylor also known as MsNaturally Mary in Media Outlets.
Martha is an educator; following in the footsteps of her father (a retired teacher) and has 13 years of experience in shaping the young mind. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Ed and a Masters in Curriculum and instruction. She is also a product of an HBCU. She was just recently deemed Teacher of the Year for the 2020-2021 school year, yet works diligently to not just obtain titles, but make a lasting impact on the next generation.
As a worship leader and speaker, she has ministered on several platforms and before many congregations. She is on a profound journey to fulfill the purpose that is inside of her. She is a singer/songwriter who is driven by the idea that her life and gift can be a seed that brings someone closer to Christ.
She is the cofounder of “I’m a Bridge” LLC, which is a media and production company that connects leaders and individuals across cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds; giving birth to “BridgeBuilders” a worship movement that connects worship leaders and worshipers from various churches and organizations.
Martha is a content creator, confounding “DovesNest” with her husband, a brand promoting lifestyle, music, inspiration and family. She has also partnered with many national and local brands such as Originals by Africa’s Best, Soufeel Jewelry, Dossier and Toyotress; just to name a few.
She is currently working on new music and anticipates the release before the end of the year. It comprises a collection of songs that can be sung in the local church, in everyday devotion and in times of despair. Her favorite quote is one that her father used to always recite ~ “Reach for the moon and if you fall amongst the stars, you will still be on higher ground.”
