A blogger in Minnesota took to her Instagram asking for money to help employees at her favorite restaurant. The restaurant will be closing for 4 weeks due to Covid-19 and she knew the employees would be struggling during that time. She went to the restaurant with the $4,000 and the employees were overjoyed. She has now started another one to help another local business during the shutdown.

James Aspell, who owns 'The 400 Rabbits' bar in Nottingham, England recently applied to have his bar recognized as a church. He says he wanted to find a way to keep his bar open during the lockdown. James says he wanted to point out the contradictory nature of the lockdown rules. He says hospitality businesses need government support right now.

This past Sunday, restaurant owner and host of the Netflix show "Ugly Delicious," David Chang won a million dollars on the game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. He is using his prize winnings to help out restaurant workers who are struggling during this pandemic.
He is giving his million-dollar prize earnings to the Houston-based Southern Smoke Foundation, an organization that provides emergency funds for employees and business owners in the hospitality industry. Since November, the organization has raised $178,080.

An XTU listener Jen sent an email in saying she was shopping over the weekend and there was a woman who was doodling on a tablet that was for sale. The woman put the tablet down. It was the last one down so Jen grabbed it only to be approached by this woman in line saying Jen stole the tablet from her. Jen still bought the tablet but felt terrible.

Due to Covid, a Colorado couple (Dennis and Jan) who usually spend their Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends were unable to this year. So, they got creative.
Jan prepacked Thanksgiving meals while her husband made a drive thru window. Come Thanksgiving, their loved ones were able to just pull up to the window, grab the prepackaged meals and then drive away.
