One of the critical aspects of relationships is that we're working together - we are all on the same team. Unity. Paul says, "Agree with One Another."

In this sermon we'll look at why getting along is so important, why we CAN still be all together despite our differences, and HOW to find and keep unity.

For Christians, there is a special struggle when we have to deal with sin, especially if it is in someone else's life. Too often we are prone to judge and condemn that other person.

Paul challenges us to do the opposite: to actually help them carry that burden!

The building blocks of all relationships are now in place: care, commitment and forgiveness. But what do we actually DO if we want healthy relationships?

The first thing we do is be willing to serve that friend - just like Jesus did!

There are some basic building blocks of relationships. Today we look at the third one: Forgive One Another.

We all mistakes, we offend each other. There is no relationship without forgiveness.

But how do we do that? What does it look like? We'll talk about that today.

Relationships aren't automatic, they're not even easy. It takes a commitment to stick to it, to work at it, especially when tough times come.

That's why Paul says we must be "Devoted to One Another."

Relationships are essential to every life - and we all have them. That doesn't mean all our relationships are healthy or beneficial. Too many relationships are difficult, painful, or even harmful.

How do we have healthy relationships? 85x in the Bible we hear "one another." These give us God's wisdom about relationships - how to make them work.

Today we begin this new sermon series with the most basic advice: "Love One Another."

Love is everywhere - our movies, our TV shows, our media. Yet we've never understood real love less!

Healthy marriages require genuine love like Paul talks about in 1 Corinthians 13.

We say God's design last week - we are to be complimentary companions working together as ONE team! This week Paul writes in Ephesians 5 about how we are to be different and work together.

We are different not only in what we can do, but in what we need from marriage.

Marriage CAN be something that is VERY GOOD - as God described it in Genesis. However, many seem to only experience pain and frustration.

What is the key? What is the DNA of a Healthy Marriage? This series will look at the 3 key passages in the Bible about marriage.

Today we begin at the beginning: Genesis 2 where God gives His design for a marriage that can be VERY GOOD!
