What God did in raising Jesus from the dead shows us His power. There's nothing He can't do.That power is available to us as well. It's what Paul prays for us to experience.

Courage to risk your life for a greater cause inspires us. Jesus was doing that on Palm Sunday. He knew what awaited Him, still He entered Jerusalem. His life challenges all of us to not live for ourselves but for others.

For two years the Leadership at ACC has been on a journey to see what God sees when He looks at ACC. In the process of doing this, we've come to realize how much God has already done - how He has MOVED in the past. We've also seen the good at ACC now - how He is MOVING now.Today we look forward: what is God's picture of ACC? What does He want us to "look like?" What does He want to do in us - and through us? We begin looking at His dreams for ACC, and they are EXCITING to look at!

We are working to MOVE towards the picture GOD has of ACC. This isn't a human planning effort. We're seeking God's priorities, God's plans, God's picture of the church we want to be.

In this sermon we'll talk about what God has been showing us!

God cares about those FAR from Him - not only those living around us, but those on the other side of the world. Missions may not be our "choice" but it is God's directive to us. We'll look at the WHY of missions, talk openly about the COST to us if we help, but also the BENEFITS we'll discover!

If we want a solid life - a spiritual foundation - at some point we will have to wrestle with God's heart. God's heart is way bigger than ours. He cares about all His children, even those who don't care about Him, even those who live in ways that offend Him. Still He cares - and He asks us to care.

A solid life doesn't just exist, it has a purpose. A healthy tree doesn't just grow, it grows to produce fruit. So too our spiritual lives.While our culture says live for self, Jesus challenges that. In fact He says it is a quick way to "lose your life." But He does offer us an alternative, a way to "find your life." Today we find out what that is.

What gift does God wish for form us? Our worship! That is how we can minister / bless God.But worship also blesses us! It is an important part of putting a foundation under our life - putting down roots. In this 3 section sermon we'll look at why.
