Marriage is in trouble today. More and more people are opting out to just live together because they don't think it works.Yet God said it is "Very Good!" Was God wrong? Or did He know something we're missing?In this sermon we will look at three keys to finding out how to make marriage work as God intended!

None of us would knowingly stand by and allow someone to drown. Yet unknowingly we may do this very thing with evangelism.The message of God's Story is that He CARES about His children who don't know Him. He is pursuing them and asks us to help.In this sermon we'll look at why so many Christian do so little about evangelism. We'll also look at what we CAN do today what is effective in reaching those far from God.

God's Story concludes with a coded message from Jesus to His Church. (The Book of Revelation) It is a message that is both a warning and a word of hope.This sermon focuses on the "big picture" in Revelation. Why do we need to take our faith seriously? What is the future going to hold for us? And God's biggest message: hold on to your faith, I'm going to fix everything! You're going to win!

Even though God was committed to building His Church, the early Christians still faced persecution and opposition. Yet they stand as an excellent example for us in how to handle difficult times, and how to have confidence when things are going wrong.This even applies to moms as we celebrate Mother's Day!

The Church has been assigned by Jesus the task of telling others around the world the Good News of what Jesus has done for them. This is a daunting task. How did the early church do this? By God selecting the right people, improbably people, yet they became superstars, esp. Paul. The other secret is that they relied on God's power: the Spirit, to direct them, empower them, give them answers, etc.There are lessons for us in this. God still uses improbably people. And we must rely on God's power if we are to be the kind of church that shakes the world.

Jesus didn't restore all Creation to perfection. He died so we can return to God and have a relationship with Him. God's plan has one more Phase. (the 3rd step) WE have a role in God's plan. In this sermon we look at the purpose of the Church and how the Church can succeed in its mission. We have to rely on Jesus and the Spirit to guide us and empower us. If we try and work in our own power, we will fail.

The fact that Jesus was alive again changed everything. The worst morning ever, (Saturday) was followed by the best morning ever! (Easter)In this sermon we look at how the disciples were impacted by Jesus being alive.We then talk about how we are all affected if Jesus is alive.

Jesus' final week was packed with important events and teaching. Yet there is one central event that we need to keep before us: His Death on Friday.In this sermon we look at what Jesus' death accomplished. Especially what it means for us: we are reconciled to God. Why do we need to be reconciled? What we receive as a result.

Jesus was excited about the Good News He had to deliver - but it wasn't about His death on the cross! Jesus' Good News was all about the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom had come down here, to us, and we can now enter!The Kingdom is a BIG DEAL. We can be a part of God's Family NOW! This sermon looks at all that that means.
