God did something that was a game-changer. He came to earth Himself. He entered human history as Jesus.In this sermon Jesus begins His work / ministry on earth. Next week we will see Israel suffer the consequences of ignoring GodIn this sermon we look at two of those prophets: Elijah and Elisha. In both cases we see the power of God - to prove all other gods to be false - and to save those who trust Him.There are lessons for us today - of our need to listen to God AND how we can always depend on Him.

When Solomon walked with God, he was blessed beyond what anyone could imagine. God even gave him wisdom above any other human.Yet he missed the power of influence - how people around him (his wives) let him to sin and not be faithful to God.The result was that Solomon blew it.
