Andrew and Tasha both met on hit TV show ‘Love Island’ in 2022, but it was only after leaving the show that Tasha learned about the challenges Andrew had faced growing up. Born with dyslexia, Andrew admits to having struggled fitting in at school, so he set his eyes on becoming a professional hockey player. After years of playing and training, Andrew discovered he had caused permanent damage to his knee which took him out of the sport for life. Additionally, Andrew was then told by doctors that he had a brain tumour. In this episode, Andrew opens about his unique story and how a positive mindset helped him overcome the unknown and led him to be where he is today.
