Off the Labor Day Weekend holiday in the U.S., we're back taking a look at fights and results on the "Fight Freaks Unite Recap Podcast!"

Host T.J. Rives is with our insider Dan Rafael of Fight Freaks Unite Substack and BigFightWeekend.com to go over the Premier Boxing Champions/Fox Sports PPV Sunday night in L.A.

Heavyweight Andy "The Destroyer" Ruiz got a 12 round decision win over Luis "King Kong" Ortiz in large part (pun intended) on his three knockdowns of Ortiz from earlier in the fight. Still, "King Kong" showed toughness and battled back to land some good left hands and make it close. Dan has thoughts on it all and briefly, what does a potential Andy Ruiz vs. Deontay Wilder matchup look like for next year?

Dan also goes over the lightweight contender Issac Cruz of Mexico bombing his little known opponent in just two rounds in the co-feature. And, what's potentially next for Cruz late this year, etc.? Also, former multi-division world champ Abner Mares returned from a four year layoff to battle to a draw on the undercard. The guys discuss whether Mares, who's got a successful analyst job with Showtime Sports, should fight on or not?

Finally, Dan recaps the win of former 115 lb. world champ (still lineal title holder) Juan Francisco Estrada Saturday night in Mexico. Estrada had problems with Argi Cortes before getting a decision win in the DAZN main event. And, will we get a trilogy bout with Estrada and "Chocolatito" Gonzalez before the year is up?
