This explored and examined all aspects of emotions and what often happens when we don’t have the confidence to understand and manage what we are feeling. We tend to blame others for the feelings we are having. As we use feelings as the barometer of whether we are having a good or bad day we have handed over to someone else the power to enjoy life or be totally miserable.

Those that know us well will have worked out our responses to particular events. Those that love us will support us to ‘feel better’. The support and love will help us feel better. This may sound easy in theory. Yet it is not so easy to do. We have to become aware of what we are feeling. We have to then think about this feeling, then understand and manage it. It is difficult to manage a feeling that has never been identified in the first place. What we have instead is a conditioned reaction. The aim is to have conscious interaction. Therefore the, how to, when to, and what to communicate to others is vitally important.
