My first guest of the new season is someone who needs no introduction, but absolutely deserves a proper conversation: Angela Rippon. Spending time with Angela is an object lesson in energy. She radiates enthusiasm, curiosity and warmth. She listens. She laughs easily. And she brings a sense of lightness to serious subjects without ever diminishing them. That combination, I would argue, is one of the reasons she has enjoyed such extraordinary longevity in broadcasting.
