Vikki Luna with her Lighthouse Recovery Program, share with us her 100 Women fundraiser. Running a faith based program requires love, faith and resources. This is a first-time fundraiser for Vikki so she explains how it came to be and the blessing it was.

Lisa and Vikki talk about faith and how to practice. One way the Angels practice faith is through tithing 10 percent to their local church and above that to various non-profits. They say the rewards from this practice are plentiful.

In this week's episode, Lisa and Vikki prepare to get much needed inspiration from Joyce Meyer. Joyce is making her west coast stop and the ladies are excited and ready to go. They discuss taking their education to the next level. We wait for the Angels to return, so we all can get some much needed motivation.

In the Merriam-Webster dictionary the word mentor means: a trusted counselor or guide.

Both Lisa Casarez and Vikki Luna have done their share of mentoring other young women. But as Vikki says in this podcast the most important aspect of mentoring is teaching the word of God. If you have children, teach them from early on how to live their lives without reproach. When you have young children you need to take your time to nurture them. Once they are trained in the word of God, He will provide them with wisdom for all the aspects of their lives. When you see a young person in need of guidance, pour into them positive thoughts, nurture them with wisdom and show them the posibility of a life full of love.

We all have to wear different hats…the one of a wife, father, friend, etc. According to Lisa Casarez and Vikki Luna, some hats are difficult to wear, some are even embarrassing. You wear the hats, even the difficult ones, with humbleness because it is what God has assigned for you. And the most important hat of all is the one we wear as a representative of God on earth. Whatever hat you choose to wear, wear it with love, joy and peace. Try to always remember that when you wear a hat with love in your heart, it leaves an everlasting impression on people.

In today's podcast you get to meet Nikki Catallo. She shares with Vikki Luna and Lisa Casarez how much her life changed when God came and asked her to serve. It all started when her best friend encouraged her to be a mentor to women suffering from substance abuse. While mentoring, she bonded with a woman struggling to stay sober. She stuck with her through the good and the bad. Even through the point where this person found herself pregnant and in jail. When the time came, Nikki took the baby home at the bequest of the mother. The woman and the father of the baby eventually lost all parental rights to their child. But that didn't matter since the baby already had a loving home. However, God tested her faith once more when she found out the little girl had brain cancer. Nikki, along with her family, pushed through and their faith in God never faltered. She is happy to report the baby is now cancer free.

In this podcast Vikki Luna and Lisa Casarez speak with LuAnne Pinedo Madden, a cancer survivor, now afflicted with Dystonia, a movement disorder in which a person's muscles contract uncontrollably. Even though LuAnne has to struggle with this disoder for the rest of her life, she doesn't allow her condition define her. She lives life to the fullest. What is her secret? Giving of herself to others and to the community. Her biggest passion is to give. And she believes she has been blessed by God for willingness to always find a way to give back.
