(Sunday Service) 1 Timothy 3:14-16: "Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory."

Jesus has answered questions from the chief priests and the Pharisees - Two out of the three groups who controlled all that happen in the temple and on the temple compound. The third group is the Sadducees. They are now up with their best attempt to defame Jesus. They take an Old Testament law about marriage and ask how this will work in Heaven. Join us as we look at the wisdom of Jesus in the answer and are challenged ourselves as well on if we believe the bible and the power of God.

Daniel has been reading the book of Jeremiah and probably the book of Isaiah. He sees that the length of the Babylonian captivity is going to be only seventy years, and is due to expire. Part of Daniel's prayer shows he knows that Israel has to confess her national sins before the Messiah is going to come to set up His kingdom. Following the prayer, the angel Gabriel comes to make a correction to Daniel's assumption about when the kingdom would begin. Gabriel tells Daniel that the kingdom is going to be set up after this concept he introduces called, "the Seventy-Sevens". Daniel thought waiting for seventy years to finish would be the time span, and Gabriel says, "No, no… it's seventy-sevens of years."

The final portion of Chapter one details the birth of John the Baptist and Elizabeth and Zacharias his parents. Zacharias was of the Hebrew priesthood and received an angelic visitation and was struck dumb until the birth of his son. Elizabeth, a God fearing woman was another who was willing to say: "Be it unto me even as You have said." just like Mary the mother of Messiah. Extraordinary circumstances leading to the birth of Jesus.
