39 min - 136: Demon Slayer (The Idaten Deities Only Know Peace)Aniki finds an interesting yet ecchi and transgressive take on your typical shounen with The Idaten Deities Only Know Peace. Following both a group of gods, or Idaten, and a nation run by demons, this series explores alternative ideas on what it means to be a super powered creature who must protect humanity and pushes the limits of standard shounen tropes. The amount of scheming and counter-scheming is refreshing for a series that might also be titled "Demons and the Gods Who Punch Them." Be warned though, this series is not for kids or families. Also featuring light novel and manga reviews.Haven't seen this show? Go watch The Idaten Deities Only Know Peace.
