Kazuya goes out on a practice date with Sumi. He is shocked to see her wearing a school uniform and later finds out that she had seen Mizuhara in a similar dress while he was on a date with her. Kazuya and Ruka share a long kiss. Meanwhile, as soon as Kazuya’s grandmother gets a chance, she gives Mizuhara a wedding ring that has been passed down for two generations in the Kinoshita family. However, Kazuya does not want to drag Mizuhara and Ruka through any more trouble therefore he decides to end things with Mizuhara in front of his family.

Kazuya’s grandmother learns about Chizuru’s birthday that she forgot to celebrate, so she decides to hold a joined party for her and Kazuya on the same day. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, Mizuhara gets stuck somewhere and has to seriously consider canceling her plans. Meanwhile, Ruka chooses to accompany her boyfriend to his house despite knowing that his family recognizes Mizuhara as his girlfriend.

Ruka apologizes to Kazuya for being rude to Mimi the previous day. Kazuya later hires Chizuru for the entire day and the duo goes on a well-planned date. Chizuru tells him about a career-changing opportunity while they are hanging out which leaves Kazuya ecstatic for his rental girlfriend.
