[Animal Week!] 3 Garden Hacks that Protect Pollinators. EP: 655

Listen Later

A category of animals that really needs our support is pollinators–the butterflies, bees, hummingbirds, moths and even bats—that spread pollen from plant to plant and make it so those plants can flower and fruit.

You may have heard that honeybees and monarch butterflies–two of many important pollinators–are in trouble and vulnerable to massive die-offs. They are not the only ones. Now that it's time to start dreaming of the plants you're going to plant this year, here are three easy gardening things to do to help our plants, pollinators, and food supply thrive.
