  • AA Episode 77 - Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop - A Simple and Enjoyable Movie

This week we watched 2021's Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop and it was a very enjoyable watch! The main characters, Smile and Cherry are written well and the progression as a whole feels very organic. We both definitely recommend this movie if you enjoy slice of life and romance animes!

  • AA Episode 72 - What Anime Does Well: Emotions!
This episode took a long time coming! We were supposed to post last week, but then mother nature said no and knocked out my power! But everything worked out because my friends HoodieHanzo and Tobi jumped on to join Jess and I on talking about why anime is so well loved, especially when it comes to how it portrays emotions.

  • AA Episode 71 - Green Snake- Is Verde a Siscon?

This week we were joined again by HoodieHanzo on Green Snake, White Snake's sequel! The action is this was really good, much better than in White Snake and the plot was a bit easier to follow. Verde is also much more likeable, but we get into all that and more within the episode!

This week we reviewed Jess' recommendation of 2019's White Snake. This movie was definitely beautifully made and the action was very cool; however, the plot left much to be desired!

  • AA Episode 68 - Darling in the Franxx - The Ichigo Hate is Real
This week we watched, or at least Jess and I watched Darling in the Franxx. andAsce explains what he did on the episode! This is a great coming of age anime in our opinions mixed with Mecha and Sci-fi. Zero Two and Hiro's romantic journey is well written and has a few big ups and downs, listen in to hear more about the cast!
