It’s been a few years since we’ve started the podcast and we’ve watched a lot of anime since then. In this episode we take a look at how our taste in anime has changed over the years, the different genres we’ve delved into, and the reasons why!

We're back with another Forced Recommendation! This time JD had to watch ODDTAXI, while Earthworm was tasked with completing Megalobox 2: Nomad. Two shows that came out last year and missed our respective radars. Were they worth going back and watching, or are they better left forgotten?

We can all agree that Reddit is the most sophisticated social media sites /s. So, we figured we'd go through the Subreddit r/anime and see what some of the hottest discussions were and do our best to answer them! Along with the internet's questions we also have questions asked specifically to us by our beloved Patrons!

Let us know what your answers to these questions are!

Recently our local anime convention was held, and we were both able to attend. This being JD's first con ever and Earthworm's second, we wanted to give our fresh thoughts on the Anime Convention Experience! We talk about the panels, cosplay, merch, and everything in between!

What was your first anime convention?

It's the last week of JMovie June and we're capping it off with an adrenaline filled piece of art. We're reviewing Redline, the 2011 film that took 7 years to create and almost bankrupt studio Madhouse! Was the crazy amount of time and money worth it for this cult-classic, or was there a reason it was a box-office flop?

How did you feel about Redline?

Our third installment of JMovie June is a review of Sword of the Stranger! A lesser-known film from 2007 produced by studio BONES, this one has all the quality of today's hits. Set in the Sengoku period of Japan, this movie tells the story of a nameless samurai, a young boy and his dog.

Do you think Sword of the Stranger holds up today?

We continue on with JMovie June! In this episode we're reviewing the critically acclaimed Princess Mononoke! Directed by Hayao Miyazaki and produced by Studio Ghibli, this film is the ultimate depiction of man versus nature. This one seemingly has it all, but does the Ghibli style jive with the Brothers?

What did you rate Princess Mononoke?
