Anime Doubleplay

Why Attack on Titan's recent character return is something we don't care about, why we read so much weird but good manga, and why we are not super excited for one of the most anticipated anime of this year.

We don't just talk about Attack on Titan the whole time, we promise. Ganon11 joins me for some fun anime/video game conversation and I challenge him to a game of Complete the Set! Know that game? Probably not since I kind of made it up! Let's go.

Is Attack on Titan the best anime of all time? It's definitely making its case this season. And we go through our backlogs and figure out what we want to watch next in our spare time. Recommendations are appreciated.

Happy New Year! We are back with our first formal pod where we leap head first into the new season, finish off the old, and say hello to the new diva sweeping the internet! Vivy? No. Miku. No, but I wish. Everyone say hello to Belle!

We react to the Crunchyroll Anime Award nominees live on Twitch with some of our listeners!

Winding down our year of anime on this beautiful Christmas Eve, Mary and Thomas go through their faves of the year, their top five, things they loved, things they hated, and everything Thomas dropped...which is most things. But don't worry, he's not a hater. Not yet, anyway.

The new year is coming and that means a new year of anime! We discuss our picks for Winter 2022 and start to think about our favorite anime of the year...if we had any.

The twins are back! And we talk about everything! Anime, manga, real TV, real life...but definitely manga. This week, we read a handful of new Shonen Jump titles so you don't have to! What's good, what's bad...find out what to skip and what gets Doubleplay Approved!

Getting in the mood for the holiday season with a Ghibli Tier List! And we watched half of the Cowboy Bebop live action...yeah...just listen if you're curious.

Thomas is back after a week away. We have both watched something new and both need to get something off our chests....this season isn't that great, is it?
