Anime Doubleplay

Trying to decide what to watch this season is hard...but not as hard as trying to like Endeavor. And when we basically choose the topic live on the pod, it usually works out! Right? Right???

Mary binged a manga that she knows at least one of the listeners will be happy about, and we have a competition centered around poking fun at ridiculously long and redundant isekai titles.

Thomas is back! We finally get to talk finales, life AND the second season of Beastars...which we...well, listen and find out what we thought.

We are back with an accidental two-hour extravaganza! Season finales, debuts, random anime throwbacks, and high school superlatives. We have it all, with your two favorite co-hosts...probably?

Mary's last episode before her break! Thomas talks Psyren and Tokyo Revengers and ponders which recent season in anime has been the best so far.

You didn't ask for it but you're getting it anyway! It's a Mary solo bolo! We've got all the stuff Thomas can't talk about, Mashiro no Oto, Fruits Basket, Berserk, shoujo trash, and did I hear Higehiro from all the way in the back?

We reflect on the impact of Berserk on this sad day in anime.

We also talk about skateboarding boys, high school girls trapped in closets, and allllll the anime Thomas watched. There's a lot here folks!

Thomas talks about weeklies, health, and how his anime consumption is affected by the podcast. It's a solo bolo episode!

Thomas finally takes a deeper dive into the new season of anime, boldly claiming his best of the season early on. And we do a Reddit manga challenge that is sure to introduce you to some great titles. Are you in?

Mary squeals about Run with the Wind and Thomas is back to give us his hot takes for the season...they are very similar to his sister's.
