Anime Doubleplay

After some Promised Neverland controversy, we dive into the world of Wonder Egg Priority and talk about why we think this show is...so freakin' cool. Also, how do you feel about the possible evolution of the anime movie? Listen to find out what we mean.

Lovin' this season so far, and we're here to tell you our first impressions and hot takes! Will Re:Zero get good? Will Jujutsu Kaisen floor us again with its second cour? Gotta watch and find out!

Thomas is here. Thomas is upset. And here's what we think of the Crunchyroll Anime Awards.

Mary and Thomas go head to head in a Fastest-Finger First inspired anime trivia competition hosted by Ganon11. Who will prove themselves as the number 1 anime brain of Anime Doubleplay!

One Piece hits the amazing milestone of its 1000th chapter! Congrats to Eiichiro Oda, Thomas, and the whole One Piece team. Also, we totally don't forget to talk about Attack on Titan this time.

After a bomb week of finales, we reflect on everything we watched this year and pick a top 5! Warning: Mary messes up, we forgot Attack on Titan, and shenanigans ensue.

Not to sound like a broken record, but this was another amazing week in anime. Dried persimmons, shoot outs at the shinkansen, and hype hype volleyball. What a wild ride. And we start winding the year down by putting together some of our own awards! Will your favorites win?

Attack on Titan is back and we are more confused than ever. And then we skip ahead to 2021 and check out the new season. It's sequels galore in January and we're not complaining!

Our mouths were to the floor for a majority of the episodes this week! Golden Kamuy! Talentless Nana! Haikyuu actually being almost good again! We're excited to talk about some pretty cool stuff...join in on the conversation.

How much longer will we be able to tolerate mediocre Haikyuu episodes? Good thing the rest of the season is carrying the entire Karasuno team on its back. Golden Kamuy takes us the Russia and Akudama Drive blasts off to the moon. What an unpredictable season!
